MEET THE ARTIST

What advice would you give to someone who is just starting to collect jewellery?

Enjoy it! Choose pieces that genuinely excite you rather than worrying about trends or value. The best collection is one that reflects your own personality.

Do you wear jewellery every day? Why or why not?

Yes. I've been wearing the same bangle every day for about ten years. It has become part of my body, so I rarely even think about taking it off.

Which materials do you enjoy working with the most, and why?

Silver was the material that first drew me into jewellery. Before I became a jeweller, I loved collecting and wearing silver accessories. Although my work now explores many different materials and ideas, silver will always be where my journey began. It reminds me of why I first became fascinated by jewellery and continues to influence the way I think about making.
